I don't have any connections under the chassis with the exception of the brake light pressure switch and the rear taillight connectors. I used regular bullet connectors in those locations, but filled them with No-Corrode before final assembly. The Molex/WeatherPack/MetriPack connectors are great and easy to assemble, but I went with tradition style connectors which were. The Bussmann fuse box uses WeatherPack connectors, and they are very well engineered, weather-tight, and easy to install.
