So I assume the front of the frame is from a 1958. Within the respective years the frames in the 1957-1960 era are basically the same between the D100, D200, D300, W100, W200 except for length and in some cases the thickness of the metal. Of course the springs and spring shackles also changed based on model, but the basic frame rails are the same. This means you can swap a cross member from a D100 to a W200 and other things like that.
There is a lot of weirdness in the truck being discussed so I’m unsure if the frame is from a 1958 D300 or if a 1958 W100 frame front half was connected to a 1959 D300 rear half. Either way the frame is now long enough to take a 9’ bed and the front spring shackles look like the ones from a 1958.
An in person inspection or lots of detailed pictures would be needed to figure out what was done.
