the w200 my dad bought new in 1967 had no draftVJVR boot either just a long slot in the floorboard for the two levers, the 62 w100 he had before that was the same. the original rubber floor mat was even cut out the same. he used to stuff an old towell in the space during the winter to attempt to keep the cab warm ! i have never seen a 61-68 with any kind of boot or sleeve on the twin sticks. 69-71 utilized a single lever and had a nice rubber boot.i later split the twin sticks and adapted a shift plate from an m37, it helped get rid of the draft.
