I call it a full floating corporate. Again, the name of the axle won't help you find parts as well as the application.

The 1958 D200 uses the same rear axle, but you need to verify the ratios match before you use it in your W100.

The axle was used until the 1960 W200 and D300, though the ring gear changed at some point and some other things might have changed as well. The basic axle goes back to 1941 in the 1 ton 2wds.
