The specific axle doesn't have a name as far as I've found. The door tag just says CHRY and most things just refer to it as a full floating corporate.

I keep asking for your serial number as there is a notation in the parts book that specifies the change to the full floater from the semi floater after a certain serial number. Once I have your number I'll go look it up. If your number is after the change that most likely means you have the stock rear axle.

When I've worked on those axles in the past I just looked up the parts by application in the parts books at the auto parts store. If that is no longer possible look in the factory parts book and provide the parts store with the factory part number. They can normally cross that to a modern number with a phone call to their supplier.

Or contact DC who also posted a reply to Joe and see if he has the parts as I'm sure he's dealt with that axle before. I wouldn't worry about the name of the axle unless you strike out in the options I've listed. It is much more likely that an auto parts store will be able to find the parts based on application than based on the name of the axle.
