When I insured my;
Power Wagon
M37 (highly modified)
W300
WC-53 (highly modified)
Jeep CJ7
Each time when I bought the insurance, I told them I was doing the following;
Cummins B3.9 engine
NV-4500
MP-205
4 wheel Power Disk Brakes
Power Steering
and the highly modified bodies on the M37 and WC-53
I had no issues whatsoever. The only question they asked was the Horse Power on the Cummins. It was below some horse power standard they have and I was NOT charged for any modifications.....It was no difference that insuring my Corvettes, no questions.
I have been with the company since 1985 with my antique/classic Chris Craft boats and 2000
with the old iron. Maybe after being a customer for 32 years with no claims, they look differently...I dont know.
I always deal direct with the company on the phone, and get excellent super friendly service.
I dont deal with local agents selling their insurance and fumbling thru their books...duh
