Hmm.. In our 08 Chrysler I've hit 3 deer, 2 dogs, a skunk and more raccoons than I kept track of and drove away from all of them okay. I've had to patch a lot hoses, the gas gage still doesn't work, the plastic bumper and the aluminum are scarred up good, but no limp mode.
The fourth deer stopped me good, though. That was an insurance fix.
