Truck Tires are made for traction and not free rolling.

Trailer Tires are better at handling heat from loads.

Truck Tires are intended to be run at a lower air pressure than Max Rated, while Trailer Tires are made to be run at the maximum air pressure.

There are a lot or articles out there that support NOT running LT tires on a trailer.

Me I run a heave rated ST tire than I need. I run G's on my trailer rated to take larger loads and I believe they are built not as cheap or cost conscious. E's are run of the mill commodity compared to G's so they are made as cheap as possible to maximize profit.
