I had the same experience with Hagerty. Basically they want you to drive your truck on Sundays morning between 6:30am and 7:15am, when there is nobody else on the road. Otherwise keep it in a high security conditioned garage, covered with Egyptian cotton sheets. When I told them I would occasionally throw a bunch of 2x4 or some yard clean up debris on the bed, they almost had a heart attack.
No problems with State Farm, though. They insured it as a regular 1-ton class pick up, even though I have historical plates. $350 for a 1-year policy, towing a small utility trailer no problem, no restrictions like mileage.
