Anyone else who bought Matt's bedsides needed to trim the back lip of bed sides (where tailgate touches) to get gate to close all the way? Looks like I need to take off 3/8" to get gate to close. I may take off 1/2" and install a rubber channel strip instead of having a painted edge. Some other minor issues were mostly with hole alignment with repo headboard. Pretty minor stuff and I'm extremely pleased with the panels Matt makes. Just wanting to know if others needed to make mods around tailgate before I go hacking away metal.
Oh, here's a tip for you all: make sure to fully install tailgate, so it fully opens and closes, before sending everything to paint ;)
