Yes. Whenever they were swaged, it left no lip, but, the shoulders of the studs were sufficiently upset (made thicker and, consequently, shorter) to fill the extra ~.010".

I can find swage tools for puny 1/2" studs, but not for these.
I'm going to try truck shops, that do air brakes, tomorrow.
I have spare hub/drums but they'd really need to be turned first. Sigh.
