Leaking gas tank. Fix?

I have a brand new gas tank in my WC53. And, a brand new level sender along with brand new gasket. I can't get the bloody sender to stop leaking. Is there a trick or something I'm missing here?

First I snugged every thing down. It leaked. So I tightened up all the screws. Its still leaking. Obviously tightening the screws more isn't the answer. I'm stumped.

Anyone?
