Yeah, the whole thing doesn't make any sense to me. Even a truck with 5.83s and 7.50-16s has a road speed of 50 mph at 3200 rpm, so where does the 46 mph come from? Add to that the 1.5:1 transfer case ratio, which hasn't been used since early 1945, and it gets even more confusing. It's a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
