With my little breakdown on the return from Iowa, I would like a bit of help. In order to get 2 gallons of fuel in the oil, The problem, in my mind, can only be the seals on the return side of at least a couple of injectors. If not that, then the front seal on the IP.

I am right around 100k on the RV275 injectors I installed several years ago. The injectors were genuine bosch so I would assume the seals supplied on them were of good quality but with the number of failures I experience with brand new parts, I would not be surprised that they would only last 6 years especially considering the engine sat for 3 months with no fuel in anything. The pump was a Blue Chip reman that I installed shortly before the 2014 Rally and though I have a FASS pump, the pressure is set to 13psi (mechanical pressure gauge)...funny thing is that the pressure actually rises at WOT...as high as 19 with a heavy load.

Question is, with 100k on the injectors, should I just go ahead and replace them, or freshen them up with new nozzles and all new orings on the injectors and fuel tubes? Anyone ever replaced the front seal on a VP44 at home?
