3rd series bed

Ok, so I'm finishing up the bedwood in my third series bed. Made 9/16x 3/16 Rabbit cuts along each plank on each side. Now my question is, do the outside planks get a rabbit for the bed angles to sit in, or do the angles mount flush on the wood.
