Thanks, Daryl, good info. I will probably use the lock washers, but I'll admit it leaves a knot in my stomach to jear that people have found them cracked. Not just from you, but I've heard it from one or two others. On the other hand, it's good to hear that the ones you've seen didn't result in a blown up engine.
