all things considered, the helitool treatment - engine, discs, and steering are the most useful and minimally invasive changes you can make to a ffpw. My m37 had the full compliment of helitool upgrades, except the power booster and it was a great performing vehicle. it all worked well together and looked stock, or at home, in my truck. all able to be removed. the best part is that the big improvement in steering and braking was well matched to the modest improvement in power. diesel swaps are great too, but for a guy wanting to build and drive a ffpw, the swaps were a great improvement. i also believe that larger, better tires are a better upgrade than 489s. you get better traction and safety and an increased road speed vs stock tires.
