Hi Peggy,
The B is for Blower, ie the heater fan motor.
Is it a W series truck or a "flat fender" type? The transfre case is the 2 levers that look the same, pull the rear one back for 4 wheel drive, pull the front one back too and you get low range. The lever with the button on top is the emergengy brake.
