1941 Dodge axle nuts

I can't for the life of me get the left side axle nut off on my 1/2 ton with 14" rear drums, I have numerous right and left front axles that are removed and they are all right hand thread for the axle nut, so on my 1/2 ton 14" rear the right side is right hand thread, Is the left rear, driver's side, a right hand or left hand thread axle nut. Thank You
