I have been trying to pull the wheels off the axles on my W500 project. On the rear I got the outer duals off without too much trouble but the inners are rusted fast to the drums/hubs.
I wanted to take everyone to the sandblasted man.
I deflated the tires and then used a wrecking bar to try and pry off the wheel, to no effect.
I thought the next step may be the rosebud torch on the wheel centers, followed by prying, etc. but wanted some input from others who have had a similar issue.
I also thought about fabricating a puller using angle iron and "arms" that hook in the wheel openings.
