I like the torch blades. Like everyone else said, slow speed. Binding up kills them. I try to de-stress (hammer out pinch-points in sheet metal) and support what I'm cutting. Or at least make sure the weight pulls away from the cut instead of pinching. Going slow and using a trickle of water I can make one blade cut for a long time - a complete '70s pickup frame into 3' pieces. If the metal has tension, like a dented floorboard, and I get in a hurry it will cook the blade and rub off the teeth in no time.
