it may be worthwhile to buy a NOS if your yoke is really worn or buggered up on the u joint end. you can also have yours turned and built up with spray weld. shop time (yours or if you pay someone is not free) so sometimes messing around with a used part doesn't make sense. a leaky pinion seal is annoying and it is a lot of work to yank and replace that seal...
