Thanks Chris, I will run a wire through it like you suggested.
The Dash gauge showed pressure, but I have pulled the carb off to rebuild or replace due to not getting smooth increase when pressing on the accelerator, bad leather piston or clogged jets. I will put a in line dial/additional gauge that is good to check when I put a carb back on.
