Rick came down to go thru my binding, tight steering with me. I had the steering box set fine on the bench and after encountering tight spots, I readjusted to the point where I did not trust it any longer. First we re-adjusted the steering box on the bench and reinstalled. (Glad the rear window isn't in yet) The knuckles felt too tight so we added a shim on each. It was starting to turn smooth in one direction but hung up going the other. The pitman arm had a rough gouge in it. Rick came to the rescue with a beautiful used one. After seeing the $500 price for a new one, I was very appreciative of him giving it up at a steal. In fact if he has another, I might hang this one on the wall! Hope to get it on soon and kiss another holdup good by.
