I recently cut a couple tires off with a sawzall and a dremel tool. This worked pretty well. Just cut the tire close to the bead then use the dremel tool with cutoff wheel to cut through the bead. On the front side you can use the split in the ring. Based on my experiece if it is really hard to break the bead it will be very rusty along the bead. I tried a small excavator with no luck. The slide hammers look like a good option but i didnt have one.
