Sure, it's the updated version of the LA series of Mopar V8s (318, 340, 360, etc).
Major upgrades consisted of roller lifters and good flowing heads (on par with ported LA heads). A downside was that the trick LA shaft mounted rockers were traded for less expensive stamped rockers.
When the change was made in '92, the engines were re-branded as Magnum and liter rather than cubic inch designations were used.
Many external parts interchange and the mounts are similar enough to be easily mounted in vehicles that are set up for LA engines. In addition, the bellhousing attachments were carried over.
