That is not a W300, it is a W200, check the picture.

Kevin,

The picture I attached is of a 1960 W300 with a factory winch, but it has a flat bed.

Note the axles stick out of the rims more then the truck in the book you are looking at, and this truck has external running boards, a sure sign of a W300.

If you look real close at the hood you will see it says 200, not 300. I think Don Bunn ws fooled by the 9 foot bed, and that caption is one of the few mistakes in that book.

One last giveaway, the truck in the book has straight frame extensions, and 58-60 W300s have frame extensions that angle out from the front of the truck.

Check out the link at the bottom of this post to see many more trucks of that style.

If you go to the W300 section and click on production figures it will tell you how many 1960 W300s were made.

I don't know of any 1960 W300s with factory 9 foot beds, and winches at the moment. But some people are building some, and I have a factory V8 4spd, winch equiped 59 W300 that I am putting a 9 foot bed on.

Good luck!

Let me know if I can help in any way.

Eric
