You have a NP 203 (New Process) transfer case that has an inter- axle differential and is known as a full-time 4X4 . Had you placed one tire of your set up on a slab of ice or mud all your power would have gone to the wheel with the least resistance and you would have had to pull into hi-loc . Now you need to get a conversion for your t/c and it is not hard to put in .
