The engine in stock form puts out 280 HP@4600 RPM and 380 Ft lbs @ 2800 RPM. It has a 9.0:1 comp ratio, Dry Weight is 737 lbs. I plan on running Q78-16 Swampers on stock rims. I want the truck to look as if the motor was designed to be put in there, nice and clean. Try and keep as many original parts as possible, but I will go to frt discs for safetys sake. I like the idea of the NP435, keep everything mopar and replacement parts are inexpensive. Not much performance stuff as I dont want to be accidently snapping axles, but I will be forced to use block hugger headders, and I will have to machine my steering box a little closer to the frame to get the motor to fit correctly. I cant wait to get started on it!
