Hi,

One has a barbed fitting and one is a threaded fitting...threaded is the high pressure hose. I would guess the lower pressure hose is larger in diameter and probably is attached with hose clamps. The high pressure hose probably has crimped ends as the pressure in a PS system is a couple thousand PSI (like hydraulics).
