Just in a good mood today! Actually if the 49' really is mint, then $2,000 is VERY fair. But for restoration, not Hot Rodding. Actually anyone is free in this country to do most anything they want, no matter how foolish, so if you are buying it for Hot Rodding, I'd ask you to reconsider and let someone who really appreciates the truck to buy it. Buy a rust bucket parts truck for hot rodding and save the classics for history.
