Hi Gary,
That is called "phasing" and it works to eliminate "clutch chatter" when first starting out also. Once you have figured out that all you have to do is align the yokes on the rear and intermediate driveline, it takes about 30 seconds,...And you must do it every time after you have been in 4WD.
