Last year I was sitting in my parked car eating a Crispy Kreme donut with my wife. When I felt my car rock. A lady was pulling in next to me and misjudged the distance, clipping my drivers side rear fender. She admitted fault and was apologetic. I took her information, but did not call the police because it was only a scratch and we were on private property. Two hours later while watching a movie with family I started receiving calls from an unknown out of state phone number. When I checked the voicemails they were increasing belligerent and vulgar voicemails from the parents of the girl, claiming I almost killed their daughter and they have video of me slamming her against the car. I never called them back, but instead called the police. She later told my insurance company that I was backing out and hit her car. I had pictures of everything and my insurance company denied her claim, but that's when I decided I need dash cams.
