The specific year cab you are trying to match will only be exactly the same as some years before and after the year of your truck. For example a 1953 B4-PW-126 cab is basically the same as a 1951 B-3-PW-126 to 1968 WM300 though there are some small differences.

If you're asking what looks close the answer is the 1939-1947 2wd cabs and 1940 VC/VF 4wd military cabs. The rockers are longer, the firewall is different, and the floors are different. There are smaller changes as well like the gas filler hole behind the driver door. Avoid the 1940-42 1/2 ton closed cab 4wds. One that cab is rare and two it has a different angle to the cowl and the hood won't look right.

Be careful and research before you buy. If you want to restore a PW you need the correct cab to ever be able to sell it for good money. If you want to build a repowered 4BT hot rod use whatever you want. It might be easier to avoid the 1939 2wd cabs as they have a lot of unique details like specific door latches.

Good luck,
Eric
