Hello All,
Adjusted the valves on the IND-7 yesterday as some were starting to do the "Tick Tick" boogie. I adjusted about 5 of them which were out of spec. When I went to adjust #5 cylinder inlet valve, I noticed it was way looser than some others I had adjusted. The adjusting screw seemed to be way looser also. When adjusting the screw, it seemed to have very little tension on it. I was able to adjust the clearance to spec's and took the truck out for a run yesterday. The valves were quiet so I was happy. Today I ran it around and within about 10 minutes of running, the #5 cylinder is clicking again. I'm thinking I have a bad tappet and or adjusting screw which is NFG. What do you guys think. It has tons of power and does nit miss. hoping against hope that it is a broken valve spring. Thanks for any advice
