The 028 I have came from Dad. He found it laying by the road in an open box ready for the trash man to pick up. It was all there and he put it back together and had a dealers tag on cost to fix. They recommended new carb and piston and I guess they thought it was too much. Dad said it had good compression and spark but wouldn't run and left it sit. After trying different stuff found the coil was bad under compression and had no spark, but in the open it did. You can convert these saws to solid state so you don't need points anymore, just so you are aware. Only other issue it developed was a bad tank vent. Create a vacuum that would stall saw once it ran awhile. Other than that it has been fine. Kicker was the dealer wanted all the wrong things replaced and they threw it out because of it.
