Completely rebuilt and ready to run. 324 cu. in. 135 hp. Came out of a '39 Imperial. Was used from 1934 to 1950 in various Chrysler cars and industrial applications. Is currently running in a WC59 chassis, but has zero road miles.

I've been thinking about parting with it for about 3 months, but was a little embarrassed to post it here, because that means never finishing the project I started in 2004. The hard part of stretching the frame and redesigning the front springs is all done, but I have decided I'm done burning gasoline, and this beautiful motor needs a new home.

If anyone is interested in having vintage MOPAR power and class in their Dodge truck, I can share what I've learned as far as fitment. I'd consider selling or trading the stretched WC frame (which is now 123" wheelbase), but my plan is to keep it for a Cummins conversion platform.

The 8 block will accommodate any flywheel housing that also fits the flathead six. I have everything to mate it to a WC or Early Power Wagon transmission. The front and rear motor mounts are also ready for a WC or Power Wagon application, with the catch that the engine itself is 9 inches longer than a 230.

Perhaps more likely than anyone wishing to carry on my Power Wagon conversion, you might know someone with a Chrysler car, a hot rod, or a pulling tractor that needs a good strong motor. Check your NATPA rule book, though. If you have a Wards, Co-op or other antique tractor with a Chrysler six, this eight will fit your flywheel housing, but the additional cylinders might disqualify you by NATPA inspectors.
