One thrust washer each side of the sliding clutch, I see the one against the hosing, but can't see the other side of the clutch. I think the problem is the fork, it seems to be angled more and that's why it's not fully engage, we need a shot right above it to compare. VPW has an exclusive shift fork bracket made of steel which I have on my truck, it is thicker where the mount is. Going to 5/16ths bolt for the mount is not a bad idea.
