I am trying to add a few accoutrements to my build as I go along, primarily on the interior or subtly hidden throughout. I know that the DB logo was abandoned before the WC series was built; however I have used an old hood emblem as a horn button cap and I am replacing the Radio transformer box in my carryall with a slightly larger panel to house the relay center for my rear half of the chassis. In doing so I want to add a logo to it. I have the DB logo of early days drawn up however 2 of the 3 people who have seen it are like "you're going to weird people out with that Jewish star"... and I have to explain that it preceded the war, and the whole ordeal. That in thought, should I abandon the concept? The just DB logo is too off I think. Does anyone have a good source of the bolt head stamp pattern used during the war? Something that I can more easily trace and see what that might look like?
