I talked to someone at the fire house this morning and was told that it was sold 2 days ago for $18.7K. I was looking to purchase it an sent some emails and called the firehouse a couple of times with no response. Last night I called the main Firehouse and talked to a fireman who led me to believe it was still available and to call the East End Hose Company this morning. It is a volunteer firehouse and generally no one is there, but due to the storm everyone would be there this morning. They answered the phone this morning and that is when I was told it was sold 2 days ago. Not sure who it went to but assume it was an inside deal. It looked like a nice truck but $18+K was a little higher than I was willing to go, but still a fair price. I'm happy with my 61 WM300 and need to focus on completing my 28 Dodge pickup so it is probably for the best.
