Call him and find out what he knows. He claims to have done many things that other folks said shouldn't be done with flatheads, such as driving cross-country at a sustained 4500 rpm in a flathead, with no discernable damage done to the engine, and he said it was a bone-stock engine, except for power upgrades, but no oil system mods or similar reliability upgrades that other people say are necessary. And 5500 rpm in races with that same engine - again, no oil system or other reliability mods. I believe it was a 265.
