Thing is a car to your right could not see your left cowl light. Turn signals need to be up front. I agree that they don't look good. The turn signals on my TW however are factory installed as per a door tag. Don't like the looks, but safety-wise they are a good thing. The roofs of most cars are below my windows, so I can only see the blind spot in the mirrors. The front signals have red lenses on the back they say I'm a comin'. The rear ones are rewired to be the brake lights... both things that are modern safety features today, so I'm keepin' them.
