I agree with Eric with the recab. Looks like a drivers side gas filler hole behind the drivers door. The Patina is different between the front end, cab and bed as well.
Did Vintage say WC12's could come with duals or just 1/2 tons? The WC20 and WC41 Cab and chassis did but that is all I'm aware of. All you need to it it is a change of studs so it's not a big deal to do. I'm sure some were changed once delivered to military service in some situations.
