I bought our TJ in 2005 3 years old with a banged up fender low miles and fixed it up.It is a Canadian model with daytime running lights that I disconnected the seal beams made it look like the battery was going dead. It is a 4.0 automatic 60 year anniversary edition AC auto and now has 40 Thousand miles on. I plow snow in the driveway with chains on the front and it dont go on the salt road in the winter. In the summer I use it as a spare vehicle and use it as a truck to pull a trailer. I also take the hardtop and doors off and the wife can use it as a convertible. A lot of the wranglers get hard use and in the salt road winter and salt brine on the dirt roads in the summer the frame is boxed and has some places for the salt to get in. I use fluid film on ours and look it over on the lift when it is serviced. You can find a good one with some searching and may have to travel almost like finding a older Power Wagon
