My thought is there is one tooth that is slightly out, and or hasn't been polished in yet. You said you had a broken tooth that you replaced it, it might have scared the matching tooth in the trany.
Is there some kind of marker you could use to coat the teeth, drain, clean teeth, apply the marker, refill, and run for some time, remove PTO and see if they all have had the markings polished evenly.
That is my nickle .98, Good Luck, give us the remedy when figured out.
