Hijacking acceptable. I have that same valve on my Power Wagon seat and I will have the seat recovered leaving it there and if installing the cardboard so it can be made to work (ineffectively) as original doesn't cost too much, I'll have him do it without expecting great results. Hopefully he can do some spring rework to make the seat somewhat comfortable
