he still has the 2 naturally asperated isuzu forward trucks we used the haul the cane after my 67 wm hauled out of the farms to our processing plant which was a trapiche---oxen going around in a circle crushing sugar cane into juice that they boil down into brown sugar cakes--the owner is family of my partner and they had a big area where we could cut the cane to length seal with wax and pack into 40 ft. reefers homestead fl. bound
anyway each truck has over a million kilometers on it and neither have ever seen an overhaul---instantly fire up and don t or hardly burn any oil according to him
one is a 76 and the other a 78 and they have the hydravac boosters on em i mentioned--he has and xtra one and gonna give it to his mechanic to make sure it is good to go and give to me
this is the only ref. i could find to the engine app. ISUZU Forward 5.8 Diesel del 1976 al 1980--says it hauls better than the new ones and would not trade it for one
anyway took some pics of the ole crew trucks hydravac and cana india and will post later-sadly the wm is not with us but i know where it is and may stop by and see how much more butchering they have done to it
