Hi Dave,
When we rebuilt the 315 Girl Scout engine, Vermont Engine found that the intake valves had 3 groove and the exhausts had 2 groove, or vice versa. They told me how many of each I needed to get. I told my parts supplier and they sent me the right number of each. I dont know what difference it makes though.
