I need to replace an exhaust valve, when I ordered the replacement it came with a two groove stem for the keepers. The one currently in the engine has a three groove, its a 230 in my M37, the engine was rebuilt back in 1970 by the army. should I just swap out the valve with two groove keepers, The valves look identical, except the new two groove is a few thousandths longer, I've checked with a micrometer. any ideas.
