There OK for a week or so after a operation but to me that is it. If you need them longer then they need to solve the problem. They just used them to treat the pain not solve the problems! For my neck they said things could go wrong fixing it so take these. For my back same thing. Cutting out my kidney stones they said they could screw up sure you want to have it done? Here have 90 pills you will have pain for a few days. Then the other doctor for another problem gave me another bottle. Then they send them in the mail any time I needed them. This was the VA it went on for years and years up the dose if they did not work as good. Then they found out the other part in the pill could damage your kidneys and liver in high doses. No problem lower that part in the pill. Then after around 5 years of this they said there bad for you now we want to take them away or you better do as I say. If you run out a few days early tuff you only get so many. We will piss test you to make sure your clean except for our drugs! If you run out early then deal with it. When the ER Doctor told me to just go home and take more I knew I would run out early and this would happen anyway. I decided this is bull crap and I don't want them having that kind of power over me so I quit cold turkey. The VA will pay for this now. I have outside doctors that are going to fix me this is the law now. They just give you drugs cause they can't pay for the doctors needed to fix up. I never saw a real doctor for pancreatic problems just a PA and he said take these pills for it? Here we go again just take these $1,000.00 a month pills you will be OK! Well I saw a real doctor she is working on the cause after the damage has been done. Not sure on this problem it is a death sentence if they really screw up. So at this point I am off the pain pills still hurting and sick from it but ever couple hours I feel better. I hope it just improves a bunch more but it is working for me.
